Open Book
The Open Book project connected young people in Herefordshire with Powerhouse's drama collection through workshops from October 2024 to March 2025. Participants explored play texts, took part in drama activities, and explored how to develop their own scenes and stories.
Each session combined guided activities with time to browse our library independently, helping young people build confidence while developing reading and performance skills. The project concluded with digital "Play Portraits" of project participants.
The project has helped establish Powerhouse as a new space for young people to engage with theatre literature in Herefordshire.
